Founded in 1997, SoftFrame, Inc. specializes in building custom software for user interfaces, mobile wireless devices, and networked applications. Peter Nicklin is a founder and principal consultant at SoftFrame, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley he was a member of the team that worked on the Berkeley Software Distribution of UNIX. Since that time he has worked as a software developer for Hewlett-Packard, and then as an independent software consultant for over 10 years. He recently led the effort to manage distributed Data Leak Prevention appliances at Code Green Networks and is now applying his user interface and network programming expertise to develop an Apple iphone application to synchronize information across wireless and wide-area networks. |
