The SANavigator Mobile Client comprises a secure login application and a web clipping application that resides on a Palm OS-compatible device. The web clipping application interfaces to a web servlet which generates pages dynamically in response to a user's queries.

When the user launches the secure login application they see a login screen where they enter their name and password. After logging in, the secure login application launches the web clipping application which sends the encrypted name and password to the SANavigator Mobile Web Servlet. The servlet responds with dynamically generated web pages which are encoded with a session id specific to each handheld device.
